Radiohead Live In LA

In January 2010, Radiohead performed at the Haiti Relief concert at the Henry Ford theater in Los Angeles and the event was filmed and its audio recorded, not by the band or show organizers, but by their fans.
Understandably, that footage went on to be scattered far and wide but thanks to the work of three fans – inez, formengr, andrea – the video and audio has been painstakingly collated to make a two DVD set of the event, which was limited on the day to just 1,400 people present. The trio then decided to make the work available on the Internet for the masses, but supported by a great idea to help those in need.
Tracklist:
Faust Arp, Fake Plastic Trees, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, National Anthem, Nude, Karma Police, Kid A, Morning Bell, How to disappear completely, A Wolf at the Door, The Bends, Reckoner, Lucky, Bodysnatchers, Dollars & Cents, Airbag, Exit Music, Everything in it’s right Place, You and whose Army?, Pyramid Song, All I need, Lotus Flower, Paranoid Android, Street Spirit (Fade Out)

Reimagining Darth Vader

Artists Carlos Villagra, Jorge Lacera, James Groman and Hydro 74 took a stab at designing the Dark Lord Of The Sith using just a few lines of George Lucas's script as a guide. The results turned out to be much more terrifying than the Darth Vader we know.

Alexis Krauss (Sleigh Bells) by Joey Zine

Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells made my number 4 favorite album of the year. It turns out that if this whole making great music thing does not work out she might have a future as a model.

Glen E. Friedman "Fuck You All" show @ 941 Geary Gallery with Shepard Fairey & Justin Giarla - A Colin Day Feature - Warholian from Warholian on Vimeo.

Via Wooster:

Glen E. Friedman, considered one of the most important photographers of his generation, became well known for working with such rebellious artists as Fugazi, Black Flag, Ice-T, Dead Kennedys, Minor Threat, Misfits, Bad Brains, Beastie Boys, Run-D.M.C, KRS-1, and Public Enemy, as well as old school skateboarders like: Tony Alva, Jay Adams, Alan “Ollie” Gelfand, Duane Peters, and Stacy Peralta, among others.
Von 941 Geary:
Fuck You All, is an international traveling collection of photographs that span the prolific and influential career of artist, Glen E. Friedman. Now in its 13th year, this exhibition makes its way to San Francisco for the first time, bringing with it the work that presented some of the world’s most significant photographic contributions to the punk and hip hop subcultures and not only documented the genesis of skate culture, but helped shape it for generations to come.
Friedman’s 941Geary exhibition of Fuck You All will feature several never before seen collaborations with Shepard Fairey, which will be displayed along with the original photographs for the first time. These works are true artistic collaborations, executed symbiotically and inspired from a history of mutual respect between Friedman and Fairey.

New Banksy Print to Help VOINA

But what makes this public sale even more interesting is that Banksy has chosen the legal defense fund of the underground Russian artist collective VOINA to be the recipient of all of the proceeds from the sale.

If you're not familiar with VOINA, two of its members are currently in jail in
St Petersburg for drawing a massive penis on a bridge opposite KGB headquarters. The action was a protest of police corruption.
‘Choose your weapon’, the print Banksy made available this morning comes in an edition of 100 on grey, plus a smaller edition of red, blue and green (25 each).
